“I'm interested – how much?”
One of the main things I guess you want to know is how much your website / logo / brochure design is going to cost. The truth is – it depends…
I don’t do set prices, preferring instead to charge hourly which ensures you only pay for the work I carry out for you rather than having to pay me more so I can absorb losses which could be made from set project prices. I find this works out to be much fairer for all concerned – you, and me.
Hourly rates, hosting costs & domain registration
Many designers and agencies don’t like to put their rates up on their site – thinking that it needs too much explanation or leaves them open to being abused. Instead, I think it’s fine.
I charge per hour (or part) for all design and web development work.
rate is: £35 / hr
Print work will be charged per product and domain registration, hosting and email accounts will be charged a set fee per time period.
domains are: £10 / 2 yrs
domains are: £10 / 1 yr
Web hosting is: £60 / 1 yr
The information on this page is for guidance only – print design, web design, logo design & branding, and web development are all very subjective products. There are a huge number of factors which can affect the time taken to complete a project and in turn, the cost of the project.
Quotes for design and development work will always be estimates only. Due to the nature of the work, the final billable amount may be slightly more or slightly less than that quoted. Any significant increase in the expected cost will be brought to your attention prior to work continuing.
I use Billings to track my time and projects accurately and reliably, so you can be sure you will only be paying for the time spent on the work carried out.
Though I don’t provide set pricing, please see below for some rough guides as to what you could be looking at for different projects:
