The Oxford Street School of Business and Language is to open early 2010 and needed a business design package to get them off the ground. I worked with them to produce a website, logo, letterheads, compliment slips, and business cards to engage with their future pupils.

The MP for Lanark and Hamilton East, Jim Hood, came to me to re-design his website with the aim of bringing it into the 21st century. The site allows his constituents to stay up-to-date on his activities via his blog, find out when the next surgery session in their area is planned, and get in touch with their MP.

JimHoodMP.org.uk sees improved SEO, user experience, accessibility, and standards complience, built using WordPress as a backend to allow for easy content management.

In 2008, The Phoenix International Charity was launched as an independent charitable initiative to act as an umbrella organisation, bringing together Phoenix Trading’s corporate and Trader fund-raising. The Phoenix International Charity is dedicated to providing financial assistance to a broad portfolio of charities from around the world, including Cancer Research UK, Children’s Hospices UK, CanTeen, Hospice New Zealand, the American Breast Cancer Foundation and Les Restos du Coeur.

This is a site produced a while ago as part of my day job. At launch I was tasked with using the html provided as a template to populate the site with the requested information.

My new iteration sees improved SEO, user experience, accessibility, and standards compliance, built using WordPress as a backend to allow for easy content management.

Initially having a blog based portfolio, Eduard Ockerse, a freelance photographer from Malaga, Spain, wanted to add a more professional front end to his site. Keeping his blog for more detailed updates, we implemented a slideshow based site to show case his favourite pieces from within his 3 main areas of work: Personal; Couples; and Journalism

Managed by a simple CMS (content management system), the site is built to accommodate visitors from English, Spanish, and Dutch speaking backgrounds.

Luke Riggall

Luke Riggall is a budding architect, designer & photographer. Still a student, he has already made waves in the blogosphere with his A Level furniture project: Novanta – the designers’ desk.

I worked closely with him to produce his online presence and complete it before his project was to be graded. The site is a WordPress based blog and portfolio which we hope will serve his needs for years to come as he progresses to university & beyond.

Luke has since become a finalist in the Young Designers Competition 2009 and I’ll be avidly watching his progress as his skills develop.

They needed to create an online presence which would give a glimpse of the quality and service that they offer, whilst aiming to get people to book an appointment and visit the shop.

Kanvas Art is a joint venture between KallKwik and Kdesign in Beckenham, Kent, introducing personalized canvas prints into your living room for a reasonable cost.

I worked with them to develop an online showcase of the services they offer and the options available to promote canvas printing and raise awareness of the service. A guide on submitting artwork was also provided for those who were unsure. Supporting printed matter was produced advertising the service.
